At its recent CERCA Membership Meeting in San Antonio, Texas, Desiree Albizu was named the CERCA Educator of the Year for 2009. Desiree has served as a church educator for many and served as President of theBoard of the School for Christian Living and Serving. She also is a consultant for the Synod and has served in several leadership roles in Christian Education for the RCA.
